The traditional route of publishing dictates that you write a book or at least a comprehensive book proposal and shop it around until someone agrees with you that your book has marketable value. And it takes years of work before you see any income and the income that you see may be significantly less than you deserve. Self publishing works a little different and requires a bit of cash commitment. But this doesn’t have to be the case. there are people willing to pay for your book before you even write a word.
